CBN's 50th anniversary

'Eyes Have Not Seen, Nor Ears Have Heard the Amazing Things That God Has In Store for the Christian Broadcasting Network'

- J. Randy Forbes

Dear Pat,

I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to you and the entire CBN family as the Christian Broadcasting Network celebrates its 50th anniversary.

In a half-century of operation, the Christian Broadcasting Network has brought the Gospel message, aid, and life-changing ministry to millions of people both here and abroad, and CBN has helped to redefine the standards and practices of Christian outreach and ministry for the age of technology and mass communication. Additionally, CBN has birthed one of the world's premier universities for the nurture and training of the next generation of Christian leaders. To reach this remarkable milestone is a genuine tribute to the power and grace of Almighty God, an affirmation of your faithfulness to God's vision, and a testament to the dedication of all who have labored and ministered with you here at CBN.

I also recognize, as you do, however, that this time span and all of these wonders are but a blink of an eye and a snap of the fingers in the sight of our Lord. I truly believe that eyes have not seen, nor ears have heard the amazing things that God has in store for the Christian Broadcasting Network. Even greater works lie ahead.

Shirley and I sincerely regret that we cannot be present with you for this joyous occasion, but please know that we rejoice with you and Dede and everyone there at CBN over all that God has accomplished through CBN’s ministry in the course of these fifty years. What a mighty God we serve!

With my kindest personal regards and congratulations, I am

Yours truly,
