CBN.comDR. LAURA’S MISSION
With a 30 year career in radio, Dr. Laura says as a role model she takes her responsibilities very seriously.  “When you take on a role and breach it, you turn so many people off,” says Dr. Laura.

She is also the host of an award-winning, internationally syndicated radio program with more than 8.5 million listeners worldwide. The Dr. Laura Radio Program can be heard weekdays on over 200 affiliate radio stations, XM Satellite Radio and the Armed Forces Network through her radio production company Take On The Day, LLC. The radio program is also stream-linked and podcast on www.drlaura.com.

The marital advice that she gives to her listeners is straight forward.  “I don’t have a political or social agenda to protect,” says Dr. Laura. She says her mission is to give advice that actually works and she strives to keep families together. She preaches about respect and admiration for the qualities of the opposite gender that can positively feed a marriage in ways never imagined. She does not promote the usual “psycho-babble nonsense that has been dominating the marital counseling therapy field since the sixties which condemns masculinity and disdains femininity.”
