THOUSAND LITTLE THINGS
Shelly, Leigh and Denise have been performing as one of Christian music’s premier and long-standing pop music groups.  For over 20 years, they have sold over 7 million albums and earned 24 consecutive number 1 hits, a feat unmatched by any artist in any genre.  Their familiar message of love has defined Point of Grace (POG) as one of the most influential contemporary Christian artists of all time.  The band originally formed as a quartet out of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and in 2008 after one of the band members, Terry Jones, decided to stay at home with her children, they became a trio.

While POG loves performing, they are also thrilled with their Girls of Grace events.  These one-day events are booked in churches across the country and aimed at 6th to 12th grade girls.  They address common age-related issues which are delivered through speakers, music and multi-media.  “We are so grateful to still be able to sing and record,” says Shelley who says POG is mindful that many of the artists they started their careers with are no longer in music ministry.  “Every artist goes through seasons,” says Shelley.  “We are just grateful that what God put in our hearts to do, we are able to do.” The girls are also hosting a lifestyle and music radio show, “Graceful Living.”  The show focuses on living well through faith, family and friends.

One day Shelley says they were talking about the goodness of God.  They discussed all of those “little moments in life, little and big, that we are reminded that there is a Creator that loves us and wants us to have a good life while we’re here.”  For example, in the mundane routines of what we do, they express gratitude.  “Every single day, there are a thousand little things we can truly be thankful for,” says Shelley, and that gratitude was the inspiration for the song and album title.  POG will sing “A Thousand Little Things.”

THEY CAN COOK, TOO!
A couple of years ago, the girls released a cookbook.  Proverbs 15:15 says that “a cheerful heart has a continual feast.”  POG will join us in the kitchen for a Mexican theme.
