Lisa Morrone: Neck and Back Ache Remedy

The 700 Club

CBN.com RESTORING YOUR TEMPLE

Lisa Morrone says the health of the structures of your body not only depends upon the soundness of the structures themselves, but also on the rest, nutritional, emotional and spiritual states of the individual. All forms of stress cause chemical changes in the body. It’s important to relieve stress and get a good night’s sleep.

“Everything [I’ve laid out in my book] is to help you understand the Creator’s design for your body and start treating it in a way that’s consistent with that design,” Lisa said. "Get rid of emotional baggage."

She was brought up in a Baptist home and always understood who God was. Lisa committed her life to the Lord at the age of 12.

“He’s shown me favor, but also He has given me amazing opportunities to put what I understand and know about back and neck pain all together,” Lisa said.

Three years ago, Lisa was treating patients and it was not on her radar screen to write a book. Then the Lord spoke to her and said she needed to help people restore their temples. Much like the army needs a medic, Lisa believes the Lord instructed her to inform people how to break free from their pain.

BIOGRAPHY

Lisa Morrone is a physical therapist, author, professor, and speaker. In addition, she is the President and founder of Restoring Your Temple, LLC, a company dedicated to restoring people’s physical health and wellness.

Her message of healing has been developed through her nearly 20 years experience in the field of orthopedic physical rehabilitation.

Shortly after graduating magna cum laud from the Physical Therapy Program at SUNY, Stony Brook in 1989; Lisa complimented her clinical practice by accepting an adjunct faculty position in the Doctorate-level Physical Therapy Program at Touro College. There she has instructed over 1000 of tomorrow’s physical therapists, as well as her own colleagues, since 1990.

In 2003, Lisa opened her own home-based private physical therapy practice. Throughout her career, she has received multiple invitations to speak in local community, church-based, business, and hospital-based health forums.

In her newly released book, Overcoming Back and Neck Pain (Harvest House 2008), Lisa shares her method of comprehensive Do-It-Yourself treatment for chronic back and neck pain sufferers.

Lisa’s writing style reflects both her personality and speaking ability as she is passionate, articulate, witty, and highly motivational.

Packed with photos and illustrations, and written with knowledge and wit, Morrone educates and entertains her readers while they learn how to make specific changes that will bring about their healing and continue to maintain their health as they mature. With the simple application of the methods Morrone puts forth in her book, she has had the privilege of helping many last-chance sufferers regain full relief from chronic back and neck pain.

In 2006 and 2007, Lisa graduated from the She Speaks Conference of the Proverbs 31 Ministries; from the Writers and Speakers tracks, respectively. As a result, in 2006 Lisa signed with the William K. Jensen Literary Agency and was subsequently awarded a two book contract with Harvest House Publishers.
