CBN.com Spirit of humanism is a deadly power that gives rise to the spirit of anti-Christ spirit. (1 John 2.18) Anti-Christ is first a spirit before it is a person.
Of course this anti-Christ spirit can animate a person, i.e., Hitler, Stalin, etc.

The basic character of Islam is power, honor, and revenge.
But all who come against Jerusalem and Israel will find:
Zechariah 12.2-3 "I will make Jerusalem and Judah like an intoxicating drink to all the nearby nations that send their armies to besiege Jerusalem. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone, a burden for the world. None of the nations who try to lift it will escape unscathed." There is also a spirit of deception in the world system that promises a superficial "peace."
Jeremiah 6.14 –"They offer superficial treatments for My people’s mortal wound. They give assurance of peace when all is war."
Jeremiah 8.15 – "We hoped for peace, but no peace came."
1 Thessalonians 5. 3 – "When people are saying, ‘All is well; everything is peaceful and secure,’then disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman’s birth pains begin when her child is about to be born. And there will be no escape."
Jesus is the "Prince of Peace." No Jesus…no peace!"
How Do We Pray? Not reactively. Rather our prayers should take the initiative.
Intercession is taking God’s initiative.
John 4.22 – "Salvation is from the Jews."
Our inheritance. We have a debt to the Jews.
Ask God, through the Holy Spirit to raise up a heart cry for Israel and in Israel.
Exodus 3.7-8 – Israel’s cry – then deliverance.
Judges 3.9; 3.15; 4.3 – Cried out – The Lord raised up a deliverer.
Judges 6.6 & 8; 10.10 – Cried out and God sent a prophet.
As God’s people we have binding and loosing authority (Matthew 18) – As we meet God’s requirements, we have His authority.
Pray for leadership of God’s choice to be raised up. God uses men and women.
How to Pray As the Lord directs you, make a commitment to the Lord in behalf of Israel. Natural and spiritual. As Paul the Apostle said, "The Israel of God."
Pray against the spirit of violence:
Psalm 55.9 – "Destroy, Oh Lord, and divide their tongues, for I have seen violence (in Hebrew = Hamas) and strife in the city." Pray for the true Church in Israel and Jerusalem to be united.
Isaiah 62.6-7 – "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
Psalm 122. 6-7 – "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. O, Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, ‘Peace be with you.’" As Israel goes so goes the world.
And we pray for the New Jerusalem to come down from above, "May your Kingdom come!"
A caring friend will be there to pray with you in your time of need.
