CBN.com Known for being upbeat and quick with a smile, Kristi Watts joined the Christian Broadcasting Network in 1999 as a reporter and producer. Today, she continues her responsibilities as a co-host of The 700 Club.

She received her Bachelor degree and Master degree in Communications from the University of Dayton in Ohio. Although Kristi got her start in news working at a local NBC affiliate in Dayton and as a news reporter for a radio station, she eventually found her niche in Christian television where she loves "getting to the heart of people's personal stories."

Before coming to CBN, Kristi produced and co- hosted an inspirational television program called “Friend to Friend” in Columbus, Ohio. During that time, she also created, produced and hosted a weekly inspirational news magazine style program called "A Matter of Concern." During her 18 years of television experience, Kristi has trained and mentored several inspiring television reporters where her goal is teach them to not just look for the facts, but "to find the heart of the story, because heart touches heart." Kristi also co-hosted a children’s program on a FOX affiliate in Dayton, Ohio.

Since joining The 700 Club, she has traveled the globe covering ground breaking stories. Her reports on medical missions with Operation Blessing have taken her to some of the most remote villages in the world , Africa, Albania, Indonesia and many other countries. When she is not traveling, her other passions include food, fitness and fun as she is the co-host of "Skinny Wednesday" alongside Pat Robertson.

She is also known for her in-depth interviews with celebrities such as Natalie Cole, Tyler Perry and The View’s Sherri Shepherd. Kristi says that her most life-changing story was when she interviewed Nick Vujicic, an Australian man born with no arms or legs. "He is one of the greatest examples of how God can use someone with no arms and legs, to be His hands and feet. Nick taught me what 'trust in the Lord' really means."

Born outside of Chicago and the youngest of five children, Kristi grew up in a strong Christian home where she accepted Christ into her life at the age of 5. She knew then that God was going to use her to bring joy and the love of God into people’s lives. She has a heart for single working mothers and continues her desire to encourage, enlighten, and love the brokenhearted.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing, biking, rollerblading and playing with her son. They reside in Virginia Beach.
