Romney on Rudy Giuliani

I asked Mitt Romney about Rudy Giuliani and whether he believes he is far outside the mainstream of conservative thought. He wouldn't directly answer that but he did offer the response above. You can read the transcription below.
"He is pro-choice, he is pro-gay marriage, and anti-gun. That's a tough combination in a Republican primary."
Romney used to be pro-choice and to a certain extent, pro-gay rights. How will the Giuliani camp respond to this?
