Virginia Tech: The Aftermath
April 19, 2007
I'm here in Blacksburg, Va. on the campus Virginia Tech, and as I walk around the campus today the one lasting impression is that students everywhere are in a daze and still in shock.
I went up to at least four students today who all respectfully declined to be interviewed because they just didn't want to have to deal with all of this.
I went into Blacksburg and noticed that this small college town has orange and maroon ribbons everywhere. At the local Virginia Tech sportswear store, they're handing out small little VT ribbons for free to anybody that comes in the store.
Check back tonight for more of my thoughts and observations on this horrible tragedy.
