His name is Farfur Mouse. He's cute, he's cuddly and he bears a striking resemblance to our very own Mickey Mouse. Except Farfur encourages Palestinian preschoolers to annihilate the Jews

The Palestinian government now says they want Farfur pulled off the air

Funny, they had no problems whatsover with this program or others like it -- which poison young minds over the Palestinian airwaves on a daily basis -- until the recent outcry over ol' Farfur in the U.S. and Israel. (Not that politicians in either country would ever have the guts to cut funding to the Palestinians anyway). Looks like Hamas TV isn't listening:

A Hamas-run television channel has defied a Palestinian government request to axe a controversial children's cartoon in which a Mickey Mouse look-alike urges resistance against Israel.

A senior official working for Al Aqsa (Jerusalem) television in the Gaza Strip said that the program - "Tomorrow's Pioneers" - would air as normal this Friday in defiance of information minister Mustafa Barghouti.

'The program will continue and it will be broadcast tomorrow at 4.00 pm [1300 GMT]. Mustafa Barghouti misunderstood the issue," said the official on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the press.

So gather 'round kids!

In the program, the Mickey Mouse look-alike named Farfur and a little girl urge resistance against Israel and the United States - along with stressing the importance of daily prayers and drinking milk.

Ah, there's that word again--"resistance." It's the old standby for jihadists seeking to rationallize their unspeakably evil actions, particularly in the Palestinian territories. I'll admit, it sounds a lot tamer to sympathetic European ears than "annihilation." Hitler couldn't have played it better.
