Conservative Christians and the Media

CBNNews.com - A new report on religious news coverage claims that the major media give too much coverage to religious conservatives.
And is silencing spiritual diversity.
The study was released by Media Matters for America , a watchdog group that monitors conservative media.
The group receives funding from left-leaning groups like move-on.org.
The study shows that news stories quoted, mentioned, or interviewed conservative religious leaders 2.8 times more than the so-called "progressive" religious leaders.
Alexia Kelley, Executive Director of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, said, "This important report makes a compelling case, however, that Americans may be getting an incomplete story. It's a story that too often features strident commentary from the usual suspects; divisive culture warriors with a message that fails to speak to the fullness of our rich faith tradition."
