CBNNews.com - An American member of al-Qaeda is threatening more attacks against his country.
In a seven-minute video posted on an Islamic web site, California native Adam Gadahn says President Bush and America will face consequences if U.S. troops remain in Muslim countries.
Gadahn, who was wearing a white robe and a turban, also demanded the release of all Muslim prisoners and an end to U.S. support for Israel. He said al-Qaeda would not negotiate on its demands.
"These are legitimate demands which must be met," he says in the video. "And your failure to heed our demands and the demands of reason means that you and your people will - Allah willing - experience things which will make you forget all about the horrors of September 11th, Afghanistan and Iraq and Virginia Tech."
Gadahn is believed to now be hiding in Pakistan. He is the first American to be charged with treason in more than 50 years and could face the death penalty if convicted.
Gadahn also goes by the name Azzam al-Amriki, and spoke in English on the video, with Arabic subtitles. He appeared in an al-Qaeda video last September in which he called on Americans to convert to Islam.
