'Will Hamastan Reach the West Bank?'

U.S. President George Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice quickly gave U.S. support to the new Palestinian government declared by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas formed the new government after Hamas routed Abbas's Fatah in the Gaza Strip last week.
Hamas now declares the Gaza Strip "Hamastan," while Abbas controls much of the West Bank. But will U.S. policy create conditions that will bring "Hamastan" to the West Bank?
CBN News interviewed Khaled Abu Toameh, the Palestinian affairs reporter for The Jerusalem Post about his views and perspective on what impact U.S. policy has on Palestinian society.
