Afghanistan is one of the most beautiful, scenic countries in the world. It's also the most dangerous and heavily land-mined country after decades of war.

Christian aid groups are key to helping to rebuild the country. But they couldn't get the job done without Mission Aviation Fellowship.

The pilots often risk their lives to rescue workers when things get dangerous.

The planes are part of PACTEC, the humanitarian arm of Mission Aviation Fellowship. It serves more than 100 agencies and humanitarian groups in Afghanistan.

Aid workers depend on Mission Aviation planes to reach remote project locations scattered across desolate landscapes larger than the state of Texas.

PACTEC flies more than 15,000 passengers and many tons of supplies every year.

More than physical aid, they help bring hope to the Afghani people, and that Mission Aviation Fellowship says is their most important job.
