CBNNews.com - A Christian grassroots youth movement sweeping across America will unite in Las Vegas this weekend for a gathering emphasizing prayer, fasting, worship, and spiritual breakthrough.

TheCall's 'On the March' Las Vegas event, starts this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  It is expected to draw thousands to University of Nevada Las Vegas' Thomas and Mack Center, all in the name of Christ.

Watch for a detailed report on Monday, Oct. 22, from CBN News reporter Wendy Griffith on the Las Vegas revival.

Unlike many other rallies, TheCall stresses that it is not a convention highlighted by entertainers and celebrities, but by messages of surrender and commitment to the Lord.

The Las Vegas gathering, hosted by the International Church of Las Vegas, is designed to raise a committed movement dedicated to Christ, not to money or national acclaim.

The Christian leaders and speakers participating in the event pay for their own expenses, and TheCall's board of directors receive no financial compensation.

Values and concepts focused on during the event include: revival, equipping, prayer, transformation, fasting, unity, worship, repentance, reconciliation, follow-up, impartation, and a holy revolution.

Approximately 1,000 students currently attend TheCall Institute's Forerunner School of Ministry in Kansas City, where Christians who are called to live a committed lifestyle for Christ take part in rigorous Bible training.

The first gathering of TheCall met at the National Mall in Washington D.C., where 400,000 prayed, fasted and worshipped to God in unison.

In July, more than 100,000 packed the Tennessee Titan's stadium in Nashville to gather in a prayer of repentance for the sins of the nation.
