Barack Obama told me he has the ability to do the one thing the other Democrats running for president can't - unite the country.
What does that mean exactly? It means it's time to take aim at Hillary Clinton.

Brody: Do you believe she's a polarizing figure?
Obama: I believe that she is part of the fierce political battles that we had in the 90's and that some of that carries over to today...There's a certain style of politics that comes out of the 90's that she has perfected and it says that you sort of concede that one side of the country is never going to vote for you. You work your base. You try not to engage on tough issues so that you don't make yourself a target because you're gearing up for battle in the general election and as consequence your politics becomes all tactics and it doesn't become a politics that can engage the electorate in terms of how we solve big problems and that's not the politics that we need right now.
