Video: Obama on Romney and the Republicans
November 7, 2007
Mitt Romney recently took some swings at Barack Obama. During my recent interview, I asked him what he thought about Romney and the other GOP candidates.
Here's what he had to say:
I've noticed that Romney is glib although he seems to be an equal opportunity insulter. A lot of his campaign seems to be premised on just taking shots at folks. I don't really think about who's going to be the republican nominee. I notice that most of them are basically singing from the same hymnal.
The country's in play right now in a way that it hasn't been in the past. I think that there are a lot of Independents and a lot of Republicans who have asked themselves, you know, the last seven years this is not the kind of compassionate conservatism we were looking for and so I think they are up for grabs and we can potentially make inroads there.
