Imam Wants Islamic State of North America by 2050

November 9, 2007

Imam Abdul Alim Musa's organization, As-Sabiqun, wants to establish an Islamic State of North America by 2050, as reported by Markedmanner and Jihad Watch.

Musa’s Web site says, “As-Sabiqun is an Islamic movement that believes in the Islamic State of North America no later than 2050. Those who engage in this great effort require a high level of commitment and determination. We are sending out a call to the believers: Join with us in this great struggle to change the world!"

It then asks, “What better mission could you have than inviting America to Islam, and exchanging enemies for friends?”

Enemies? Is that an admission?

Musa's outfit has branches in Washington, D.C., Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and Philadelphia.

You can listen to his sermon, "Death to Zionism" at his MySpace page.

Meanwhile, the Council on American Islamic Relations, which bills itself as “America's largest Islamic civil liberties group,” is preparing to launch an “education campaign for the media” next week.

CAIR calls it a “major initiative to help enhance understanding of Islam and Muslims in the news media.”  CAIR says the centerpiece of its “educational campaign will be distribution of the newly-published ‘American Muslims: A Journalist's Guide to Understanding of Islam and Muslims’ to some 40,000 media professionals nationwide."

CAIR took a public relations beating recently after the group was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial.

It will be interesting to see if the CAIR media guides go to ALL journalists, since CAIR barred CBN News and The Washington Times from a Washington press conference earlier this year.
