CBNNews.com - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the price of oil isn't too high, he says the dollar is too low.
He made his remarks at a rare summit of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries this weekend.
"They get our oil and give us a worthless piece of paper," he said.
Both Ahmadinejad and Cuban President Hugo Chavez said that President Bush's policies were to blame for the dollar's decline and its adverse effect on other countries.
Iran's president said some members of the oil group are interested in converting their cash reserves out of the dollar into another currency.
The Saudis resisted the idea, but OPEC has directed its finance ministers to study the problem of the weak dollar.
