Chinese Christians Celebrate 50M Bibles

CBNNews.com - Bible publishers in China are planning celebrations to mark the printing of the 50 millionth Bible in that communist nation.

Bibles Banned at 2008 Beijing Olympics

They've been printing Bibles for almost 20 years and they've wanted to speed up production to produce more copies of the scriptures in time for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Ecumenical News International reports the company plans a celebration for this Saturday-- to thank God for the opportunity to print Bibles in China.

Amity Printing is the only company allowed to print Bibles in China.
