CWN.com - Former Muslims who have converted to Christianity are opening up about why they left their religion.
A 16-year-long survey by Fuller Theological Seminary asked hundreds of former Muslims why they accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts.
The number one reason they gave was the lifestyle of Christians who practiced what they preached.
They pointed to the powerful influence of Christians with loving marriages and that women are treated as equals.
The next most important influence was the power of God to answer prayers and offer healing.
This was followed by a dissatisfaction with Islam.
Former Muslims pointed to unhappiness with the Koran because it emphasizes God's punishment more than his love and the use of violence to impose Islamic laws.
A caring friend will be there to pray with you in your time of need.
