IDF Counter-Terror Operations

CBNNews.com - In an overnight counter-terror operation in the Palestinian Authority- (PA) controlled city of Tulkarm, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer managed to return fire after being wounded, killing the assailant.

In the Gaza Strip, senior al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigades commander Ahmad Abu Sharia was killed walking down the street by a pinpoint air strike. Sharia oversaw Kassam rocket-launching operations for the al-Aksa brigades in the Gaza Strip.

Another air strike successfully targeted Palestinian terrorists maneuvering a cart of Kassam rockets near the security fence. One terrorist was killed and several wounded in the strike.

Five Kassam rockets launched into Israel Sunday raised the week's total to 165 Kassams and 70 mortar shells.

At least 30 Palestinian terrorists were killed in IDF's counter-terror operations in the past week.
