CBNNews.com - The road to next weekend's Final Four in San Antonio winds through Detroit and Houston tonight.
There are a pair of David-versus-Goliath matchups in the Motor City.
Led by emerging star Stephen Curry, 10th-seeded Davidson faces Number-3 seed Wisconsin in the opener. The Wildcats knocked off seventh-seeded Gonzaga in the opening round and Number-2 seed Georgetown in round two. After getting off to slow starts against both the Zags and Hoyas, Curry exploded in the second half of each game and finished with 40 and 30 points, respectively. He's the son of former NBA sharpshooter Del Curry.
Game two in Motown pits top-seeded Kansas against a 12th-seeded Villanova squad that is coming off wins over fifth-seeded Clemson and 13th-seeded Siena
Things get going in Houston with a 2-versus-3 matchup between Texas and Stanford.
That will be followed up by what could be the game of the night, with Number-1 seed Memphis taking on a fifth-seeded Michigan State team that's shown great improvement over the last few weeks and is coming off a victory over fourth-seeded Pittsburgh. The top-seeded Tigers were undefeated until Tennessee handed them their only loss late in the regular season.
