The 2008 campaign is being fought not only on the campaign trail but also on Godtube.com. The Clinton, Obama and McCain camps all have uploaded videos to the site to reach out to people of faith.

A little while back, the Obama campaign uploaded a video of Otis Moss III, Barack Obama’s new pastor where he refutes these emails going around saying Obama is a Muslim. Watch him here and read part of the transcription below:

“If you got the email that raises the question that Obama is a Muslim, I must say categorically it is a lie. He is a Christian who has opened his heart to the power of Jesus Christ. He is committed to Trinity United Church of Christ and I can even add that last Easter I had dinner with the Obama’s as they were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

“It is a lie…This information is a lie. The devil is a liar.”

Also, as it relates to John McCain, look at this informal poll here done on Godtube which asks “Do you believe John McCain is a conservative, moderate or liberal?” If the answer is any indication of what faith voters are thinking then McCain has some work to do.
