Obama Audio: How he Wants to be Remembered
April 30, 2008
When Barack Obama dies, how does he want to be remembered? The Brody File has exclusive audio from an interview he did backstage at the Compassion Forum a few weeks ago. Renaissance Communications is sending this audio out to churches across the country.
The question was:
When you get to the end of your life and look back, what do you hope to have accomplished?
Listen
here and read the answer below:
“I hope that people will say at my eulogy he was a loving father, a loving husband. he helped to make the World a little more just to relieve the suffering of those in need, that he always acted as best he could on the basis not what would be good for him but what would be good for others, that he was faithful to his God.”
Maybe now we know why Obama is a tad bit “peeved” at his former pastor since he wants to be remembered as someone who “always acted as best he could on the basis not what would be good for him but what would be good for others”. Wright basically said the exact opposite.
