LOS ANGELES - Mitt Romney won't become the first Mormon to be elected president this year, but a Mormon is still in the running on TV's American Idol.
In fact, Mormons were two of the five contestants left on the program until this week, when Brooke White was eliminated.
White says her faith helped her make a lot of decisions and gave her peace during the competition.
Of the four remaining constants, David Archuleta is a Mormon.
