New Narnia Film Makes Susan a Warrior

NEW YORK - The character that author C.S. Lewis dubbed "Queen Susan the Gentle" becomes a lethal warrior in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," which opens in theaters Friday.

Actress Anna Popplewell says her film character appears to kill more of the enemy than anyone else.

The actress who plays Lucy, Georgie Henley, says she gets to use her dagger in the movie, too.

In the Narnia books, Lewis had the male characters fight almost all of the battles.

But Henley says the "Prince Caspian" movie retains one of the book's main lessons -- being true to one's faith and acting on it. Her character Lucy sees Aslan but follows her siblings instead when they refuse to believe her -- a choice that lands them all in deep trouble.
