Ibro's little girl is starving.
He walked half a day with Khesna to reach a hospital in eastern Ethiopia.
They are the face of the world food crisis. A severe drought is killing the crops in this country and the price of food is skyrocketing.
Ibro says it's getting hard for anyone to be able to afford to feed their family.
"I was able to support my seven children until the price of everything went up and the rains stopped coming," he said.
But Ibro is not alone.
More than two million Ethiopians are struggling without sufficient food and health care.
The United Nations Children's Fund warns that hundreds of thousands of children are at risk for severe malnutrition.
Several Christian ministries are stepping up their outreach in Ethiopia.
But they say the high price of food is a challenge for them, too.
As for the Ethiopians, it seems one of their best weapons against hunger is to pray for rain.
