Oregon Woman Sues Ex-pastor in Trampoline Accident

PORTLAND, Ore. - A 20-year-old Oregon woman who will spend her life in a wheelchair after a trampoline accident has filed a lawsuit against her former youth pastor.
Christi Freitag claims Pastor Matt Lambrecht should have realized when he climbed onto the trampoline three years ago at her family's home that his weight would cause her to catapult into the air. She landed on her neck.
Others named in the 33.5 million dollar lawsuit include the Archdiocese of Portland and the trampoline manufacturer. The suit claims that the manufacturer failed to warn users about the dangers of "improper weight distribution."
