Change the Speed Limit to Save Fuel?

CBNNews.com - Some lawmakers want to set a national speed limit to help save gasoline.
The U.S. Department of Energy says a 55 mph speed limit could improve the average fuel economy by up to 23 percent and save 167,000 barrels of oil a day.
But not everyone is convinced.

"People are still going to speed if you drop to 55, they're going to go to 65," driver Andrew Barron said
Jessica Meza, a driver from Texas, said "If it's going to save gas for now I think it'd be a good idea."
Congress set a national speed limit in the 1970's because of fuel shortages.
But it was repealed in 1995 partly because of lower oil prices.
