WASHINGTON - President Bush says his former press secretary, Tony Snow, has "left the city of Washington for the city of God."

Bush spoke at Thursday's funeral Mass for Snow, who died last Saturday at the age of 53.

The president told mourners at Washington's Shrine of the Immaculate Conception that Tony Snow was a man of faith who took comfort in the prayers of millions as he battled the cancer that finally killed him.

Bush said, "May he find eternal rest in the arms of his Savior."

The funeral drew not only the president and first lady, but much of the Bush Cabinet, lawmakers and many of the reporters who worked with and covered Snow.
