Republican presidential candidate John McCain is campaigning in Columbus, Ohio as rival Barack Obama is touring Germany.
McCain said he would love to give a speech in Germany but that he would rather do it as President than as a candidate.

McCain was planning to meet Louisiania Governor Bobby Jindal in New Orleans Thursday, but bad weather forced him to postpone the trip.
Jindal is rumored to be a possible running mate for McCain.
Friday, McCain plans to meet with Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama in Colorado.
The Arizona senator said, "I have been a great admirer of the Dalai Lama," and calls him a "transcendent national role model."
