CBNNews.com - Sen. John Kerry, who led an unsuccesseful bid for the presidency in 2004, also expressed his support for Barack Obama Wednesday night.

Kerry was the Democratic party nominee for president in 2004, but narrowly lost to then-incumbent President Bush.

"I was proud to stand with you then, and I am proud to stand with you now to help make Barack Obama President of the United States," Kerry said Wednesday night.
