GOP Remains Critical of Obama

CBNNews.com - Republicans have been in Denver all week, and remained quick to attack Sen. Barack Obama and his party.
Thursday, a McCain spokesperson told CBN News the venue for Obama's speech is over the top.
"It's dangerous for the campaign because it plays into a larger narrative about whether or not it's truly a celebrity candidacy or is there substantive things he's proposing for the country," Tucker Bounds said. "Does he have the record and credibility to make sure that he can earn the trust of voters. We think not and we have an argument against Barack Obama that we're building every day."
Meanwhile, McCain's running mate announcement is expected Friday.
He's believed to have picked either Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota or former Gov. Mitt Romney.
Some of those close to McCain say his inner circle was "divided" by those choices. But others say there were no debates, and that McCain made the decision on his own.
