CA Pastors: Fast, Pray for Marriage Law

CBNNews.com - Hundreds of California pastors are calling on their congregations to fast and pray in support of Proposition 8.
The proposition defines marriage as a relationship between a man and woman.
The churches' 40-day fast begins next Wednesday.
Pastor Jim Garlow of San Diego expects close to 100 young people to fast on his campus, subsisting on soup and juice as they focus on passing Proposition 8.

The fast will culminate with a November 1 rally at Qualcomm Stadium.
The campaigns both for and against Proposition 8 have raised $30 million. The group supporting the proposition leads with close to $18 million, compared to those opposed with $12 million.
