The movie Fireproof had a strong second weekend at the box office.
The film finished number at eight in the country with just more than $4 million - more than the anti-Christian film Religulous.
So far the movie has made nearly $12.5 million in two weeks.
"God is doing something special with this church. We prayed so much going into it," Alex Kendrick, one of the film's makers recently told ABC News.
"Marriage has been attacked, watered down, redefined," Kendrick said. "So we want to lift up a standard for marriage and say marriage should be given honor. It's something worth fighting for."
Fireproof stars Kirk Cameron as a firefighter who turns to God to save his marriage.
The film was produced by Sherwood Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia - the same church that produced the movie Facing the Giants.
