Regent University is mourning the passing of one of its theology professors, Dr. J. Rodman Williams.

Dr. Williams served as professor of Renewal theology, Emeritus at the Regent University School of Divinity.

Dr. Williams was a Presbyterian minister before coming to Regent in 1982.

He was an accomplished scholar and author and is best known for his writings on Renewal theology.

Dr. Williams is survived by his wife Jo, and three children.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning.
