Va. Islamic School Revises Textbooks

A controversial Islamic school in Virginia with close ties to Saudi Arabia has reportedly revised its religious textbooks

The books came under fire last year from a congressional panel for their extremist content.

The Islamic Saudi Academy which offers classes from kindergarten thru the 12th grade,  says it has deleted passages that approve of killing adulterers and converts from Islam, as well as some anti-Semitic and anti-Christian content.

However, the Traditional Values Coalition says that some radical content still remains and that the academy refuses to show the books to lawmakers or the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
