Vietnam: the Politics of Religious Freedom

CBNNews.com - President Bush is in Vietnam promoting economic relations between the two nations. But is progress coming at the expense of religious freedom in the communist country?

Days before the President's visit, the U.S. State Department dropped Vietnam from a list of countries it says seriously violate the right of people to practice their faith.

The State Department's action has raised some questions about whether the Bush Administration is playing politics with religious freedom.

Angela Wu, International Director for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty spoke with Christian World News this week, about the state of religious freedom in Vietnam.
