Here is a reliable process for being what you see:

1. See It -Develop your personal vision

2. Set Your Mile Markers - How will you know you are on your way?

3. Know Yourself - Who you are, what you do, and for whom you do it.

4. Know What You Can Count On To Get You There - Choose the strength you can rely upon to be successful

5. Be SMART - Set specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time bound objectives to achieve your mile markers/goals.

Here is an example of a SMART objective:
I will lower my cholesterol 10 points by December 1, 2005

6. Take Action - Determine the activities you must complete in order to achieve your objectives.

Here is an example of some tactics to support this objective:
I will lower my cholesterol 10 points by December 1, 2005

Tactics:

  • Take daily fiber supplement

  • Exercise 3 times each week for 30 minutes

  • Get 8 hours of sleep each night

7. Be It!
You started to be it when you could first see it! Now you have the plan you need to be whatever you see.
