'Club 700 Hoy' Now Airing on
Hispanic Network in the United States

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., May 2, 2005—Club
700 Hoy, a Spanish language version of The Christian
Broadcasting Network’s flagship program, The 700 Club,
is now airing on a major Hispanic network in the United States—Azteca
America.
Azteca America is an affiliate of TV Azteca in Mexico, one of
the two largest producers of content for Spanish television. It
is also one of the most recent networks to be added to the DISH
LATINO network package that services 11 million Latino subscribers.
Broadcast in more than 30 top markets in the United States (check
local listings), Club 700 Hoy is a weekly magazine-style
television program that strives to raise awareness on critical
issues and interests facing the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic
population. The uniqueness of Club 700 Hoy lies in its
culturally relevant perspective and content—music, features,
celebrity interviews, and real life stories.
“We want to be a new alternative for viewing that will
provide hope and healthy entertainment for the Latino audience,”
said Omar Morillo, producer of this new television magazine program.
Club 700 Hoy, a weekly magazine program with the variety
and pacing of a morning show, airs throughout Latin America and
the United States. Having aired Spanish-language versions of The
700 Club continuously in Latin America for the last 25 years,
CBN proudly updates the program by presenting Club 700 Hoy
with a newly updated look and feel, which makes it one of
the longest-running programs in broadcast history to the Latin
viewer. This new and cutting edge version, hosted by Osvaldo Carnival
and Verónica Macías, is a mix of commentary, interviews,
music highlights, and feature stories. Historically, CBN programming
has been seen in more than 25 Latin American countries on national,
secular television markets and, according to audience surveys,
reported an estimated audience of 32 million during 2003. The
program is carried on numerous terrestrial and cable stations.
