In another horrific attack at a church in northwest France, two terrorists who took hostages at knife point, reportedly shouted "Daesh" (Arab term for Islamic State) before slitting a priest's throat. Police shot and killed both terrorists.

The Apocalypse and a French Priest Beheaded

The terrorists entered the church in the Normandy city of Rouen during mass, taking 84-year-old priest Jacques Hamel and four others hostage.

Police shot and killed both terrorists before French President Francois Hollande arrived on the scene, where he was briefed on the attack.

While the motive for the attack has yet to be confirmed, the investigation is being led by anti-terrorism personnel.

Tuesday's incident follows a string of deadly terror attacks, including the deadly siege in Nice that left 84 dead.

France has been under a state of emergency since July 14 and has beefed up security forces in the wake of the killings.
