After the Supreme Court ruling that struck down the Texas abortion clinic law, Planned Parenthood is launching a campaign that will carry their narrative across eight other states.

The House bill from Texas required abortion clinics to follow certain hospital regulation standards, and required clinics to comply with the standards of ambulatory surgical centers. Doctors were also required to have admitting privileges at local hospitals.

The case, Whole Woman's Health v. Hellersted, will affect the states Planned Parenthood is targeting, including Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, according to the Washington Post

According to Helene Krasnoff, senior director of public policy litigation and law at the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, this is just the beginning.

"We've reached a tipping point," she warned. "These laws are unjust, dangerous and they're unconstitutional."

Meanwhile, Americans United for Life is condemning Planned Parenthood's new campaign.

"Once again, Planned Parenthood is in court, fighting against requirements for high quality care for women, willing to invest in attorneys' fees, but not in women's health," said Clarke Forsythe, acting president and senior counsel for AUL.

"They seem to be reading Monday's decision from the Supreme Court as giving them a blank slate," he added.

Forsythe also said this will affect tax payer dollar.

"One thing that taxpayers need to understand is that if Planned Parenthood's attorneys win in any of the eight states, taxpayers will pay the attorneys' fees," he warned.

Planned Parenthood's exact strategy to carry out their plan across the eight states is not yet confirmed.
