Devastating Gulf Floods Claim Elderly Woman, Grandchildren
The Gulf Coast is dealing with the aftermath of deadly weekend flooding from torrential rains.
One driver escaped just moments before the road split apart.
"That is crazy. Thank you Lord that I got off of this!" the motorist exclaimed.
Ferocious winds lashed parts of Georgia, sending one tree through a house, splitting it nearly in half. And in western Arkansas, a mountain finally gave way, causing a landslide.
The rain turned deadly in Texas when a wall of water rushed into the town of Palestine overnight Friday, claiming the lives of Lenda Asberry and her four great-grandchildren.

Asberry, 64, had desperately tried to no avail to get the children, all under 10, out of the house.
"A tide of water came through and it was too much pressure," said Toya Johnson, Asberry's daughter and the aunt of the four children.
The children's mother, Kwanae Johnson, is distraught.
"Lord, you took four babies from me, and God, I don't know what to do," she said through tears. "They were my kids. They were my heart."
Johnson told Houston's KHOU, "It's really hard for us having to try to bury five people at one time, so we need all the support we can get. We are asking for all prayers. It's just devastating."
Parts of Texas got at least eight inches of water and six tornadoes. Two EF-2 twisters hit the town of Lindale. One family was inside their home when it was picked up and moved 12 feet.
The Houston area experienced its wettest April ever, with over 17 inches of rain in some places in just 24 hours.
Meanwhile, CBN's Operation Blessing teamed up with Powerhouse Church in the city of Katy, to help flood victims remove debris and even sheetrock from their damaged homes.
