A horrific scene took place concerning a Catholic teen in London, England. He was reportedly tied to a cross that was staged to mock the crucifixion.

The teen's four older co-workers hung him from a wall and drew religious and "phallic" symbols on him with a permanent marker. He was also tied to a chair, had deodorant sprayed towards him and was lifted off the ground by his underwear, according to a BBC report

The four men who tortured the teenager have been put on trial and have been accused of religiously aggravated assault by beating.

The victim was serving as an apprentice at a shop-fitting company when the incident occurred.

"I felt ashamed and distraught. I couldn't believe it. It hadn't happened to anyone else," said the teenager.

After he was hung on the cross and lifted three feet above the ground attached to the wall, his bullies decided to film the incident according to the Catholic News Agency

The young man who was attacked said the bullying began shortly after he joined the firm. He said once those co-workers realized he attended church they started harrassing him.

The boy says he did not tell anyone right away in fear of being fired from his job. The bullies are denying any allegations of abuse, however the investigation is ongoing.
