Pakistan Army Arrests 7 for Attacking a Christian Colony, Court House

The Pakistan military says it has arrested seven people they say attacked a Christian colony and a court house, killing 13 people. 

One civilian was killed after four gunman stormed a Christian colony near the city of Peshawar, and 12 people died after a suicide bomber struck a court house in the town of Mardan. 

Army spokesman Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa said, Tuesday, the army had broken the extremist group responsible for the September 2 attacks. 

It is reported that the attacks were planned from Afghanistan and Pakistan. 

The suspects have not been identified, but a breakaway Taliban faction has said it carried out the attacks.
