Watch George Thomas's interview with the woman who forgave the men who tortured and murdered her missionary husband.

The men convicted of killing three Christian missionaries in Turkey nine years ago have been sentenced to life in prison.

The five men tied up and brutally tortured the missionaries before murdering them. The trials and appeals took years and for much of that time the men were free to pursue their lives.

The long overdue verdict sent shockwaves throughout the country. The men were immediately taken into custody, though they are appealing the sentence.

German citizen Tilmann Geske was one of the missionaries who died that day. He was interrogated about his Christian activities before his attackers slit his throat.

Days after the horrific event, Tilmann's wife, Susanne, publicly forgave her husband's killers, an act of kindness that stunned the predominately Muslim nation of Turkey.
