Jars of Clay Let Loose 'Good Monsters'

Jars of ClayIf Redemption Songs proved anything, it was that Jars of Clay is still the best band in Christian music. It was certainly deemed the best album of 2005 by many leading music media oulets including CBNmusic.

Choosing not to take these kudos lying down, the band was soon back in the studio at work on their next album.

Talk about highly anticipated...

The buzz about Good Monsters (due out September 5th) is already favorable. Essential Records let conference attendees sample the album at a listening station during the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) last month in Denver. CBN.com Programming Director Chris Carpenter took in a listen and told me, "It's going back to the sound of the Eleventh Hour album. It's a little more rock than what they've done recently."

If you didn't get a chance to hear Good Monsters at ICRS, you don't have to wait until September. Jars of Clay released the Mini Monsters EP. Enjoy two tracks ["Work" and "Dead Man (Carry Me)"] off the upcoming CD and one exclusive track you can only get online.

You can download the Mini Monsters EP from the following digital stores:
