Directing Questions to ‘Mainstream’ American Muslim Leaders

With yet another round of horrific acts being committed in the name of Islam this past week, I thought now would be the perfect time to pose a few direct questions to "mainstream" American Muslim leaders. You know, the folks from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the rest of their Wahhabi cronies. These organizations--CAIR in particular--claim to represent the views of American Muslims. Given CAIR's nefarious track record, we can only hope that isn't the case. But alas, with all too few moderate Muslims making their voices heard, I have no choice but to address my concerns to American Islam's influential extremist wing. So to CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, and all the rest, please direct your responses to erick.stakelbeck@cbn.org. I, and the American people, would sure love to hear from you.

1) Do you unequivocally condemn the despicable October 26 comments by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that "Israel should be wiped off the map?" Because I've checked all of your Web sites, and I'll be darned if I could find even one press release blasting Ahmadinejad and reaffirming Israel's right to exist. Could it be that you actually support Ahmadinejad's outburst? One can only imagine the hue and cry that would arise from your organizations if Israel declared it would wipe, say, Iran off the map. Why, just look at CAIR's ludicrous condemnation of Israel in this press release decrying Israel's 2004 assassination of Hamas terrorist kingpin Sheikh Yassin.

2) Do you unequivocally condemn this weekend's deadly terrorist bombings in New Delhi, for which an Islamic terrorist group has already claimed credit? The blast left 59 people dead and 210 injured--many of them with horrific burns. Given that it took CAIR over three months before it finally conceded that Muslims were behind the 9/11 attacks, I won't hold my breath.

3) Do you unequivocally condemn the vicious beheadings of three Christian girls in Indonesia this past weekend? Although no one has claimed credit as of yet, smart money says Islamic fanatics were the perpetrators. There you have it. Three simple questions that require one simple answer: either "yes" or "no." America eagerly awaits.
