Kids in The Way Revamps 2005 Release with 'Dead Letters Edition'

Project Features Original Music Content and Exclusive Video Footage

CBN.com(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) July 19, 2006—Flicker Records hard music band Kids in the Way updates its popular 2005 release, Apparitions of Melody, with an enhanced version, available in stores August 8. Apparitions of Melody: The Dead Letters Edition will feature two additional music tracks plus an exclusive DVD, containing videos and behind-the-scenes footage.

The projects’ CD portion opens with new song and first radio single “Fiction,” an anthem about straying from truth in our lives. It also includes the heartbreaking farewell, “Getting Over You, Getting Over Me.” Both songs were penned by frontman David Paul Pelsue and produced by David Bendeth and Kato (Hawthorne Heights, As I Lay Dying, Breaking Benjamin).

Pelsue comments, “We felt [Apparitions] was a really good record, and we’re really proud of the songs. So we’re re-releasing it with new tools at our disposal. We tried to keep [the new] songs in the vein of Apparitions, but really just focused on writing two killer songs people won’t forget, that’ll get stuck in their heads.”

Also original to Dead Letters Edition is a DVD comprising music videos for “Apparitions of Melody,” “We Are,” and “Phoenix With a Heartache” as well as documentary footage filmed at several live shows nationwide and in the studio.
