Creation Museum Okay with Protesters

CBNNews.com - A new creation museum opened Monday amid angry protests over its content. But the museum's founder says the challenge is to love the protestors despite their vandalism and threats.
Ken Ham says the $27-million museum near Cincinnati will show that science supports the Biblical account of a six-day Creation that took place thousands, not billions of years ago.
Ham says that's important, because dismissing the Genesis account as myth or allegory undermines faith in the rest of Scripture, including the Bible's teachings about sin, redemption, and marriage.
The museum depicts history from the Bible's Old Testament, including dinosaurs living alongside people. But protestors say the concept contradicts science, and the theory of evolution.
Some even say that teaching science supported by the Bible is a form of child abuse.
"They're claiming that the earth and the universe is about 6,000 to 10,000 years old," Daniel Simpson said. "They're trying to take us back into the dark ages."
"People donate money across the world, and it's really pathetic in my opinion. Twenty-seven million dollars could have gone toward a lot of other things, other than propping up a fairy tale," said Mark Farris.
"I think it's a very serious allegation to say to say that God's word is a lie," said Jerry Frank.
